The Lich is the evil-aligned promotion of the wizard in Might and Magic VII: For Blood and Honor. To be promoted to liches, wizards must seek out Halfgild Wynac in the Darkenmore Residence in The Pit and complete his quest to fetch four empty soul jars from the Walls of Mist in Celeste.

Liches gain 3 hit points and 6 spell points per level. They can learn grandmaster identify item, identify monster, and fire, water, air, and earth magic instead of master, and grandmaster dark magic.

Good-aligned wizards can instead be promoted to archmagi. Archmagi can learn grandmaster light magic instead of dark magic.
