King and Country is the third scenario of the Voyage Home campaign in Heroes of Might and Magic II: The Price of Loyalty. The player can choose whether to play this one, or Blood is Thicker.

When he returns home, Gallavant discovers that his sister Drakonia has started a rebellion against Lord Alberon. His loyalty divided, he decides to side with his king and defeat his sister.

Walkthrough[]

Lord Alberon and Gallavant have one blue Knight castle and two Knight towns in the southwestern corner, while Drakonia has one green Necromancer castle and three Necromancer towns (that will be upgraded into castles by the time the player reaches them) in the northeast. In the northwestern corner is the yellow player, with two Barbarian castles, while the orange player has one Barbarian castle in the southeast. In addition, there are six neutral Sorceress towns in the center of the map that can be captured for resources and creatures.

All three enemy forces need to be destroyed to achieve victory, but capturing all the sorceress towns won't be necessary unless they have been captured by the enemy already. The Barbarians in the northwest should be the first faction that the player should attack, as they have two castles and can build a huge army if not dealt with quickly. Then, they should focus on taking out the green Necromancers by defeating the heroes and capturing their castles and any of the sorceress towns they have taken. Finally, they should take out the orange Barbarian player. Find and eliminate the heroes and all of their castles and their towns in order to win the scenario and the campaign.
