Jerin Flame-Eye believes he can get in favor with Deftclaw Redreaver if he is instrumental in bringing about the deaths of all the Dragon hunter types. He promises to reward the party well if they will kill all the Dragon hunters in Garrote Gorge.
If the party has already sided with the Dragon hunters, this quest will not be available, or if it has already been recorded, Jerin Flame-Eye will not acknowledge its completion.

Walkthrough[]
Jerin Flame-Eye can be found in the Dragon Cave of Garrote Gorge. The "Garrote Gorge wilderness area" means everywhere outside and inside in Garrote Gorge, including the settlement. Killing all the Dragon hunters refers to killing all the types, which means any human in Garrote Gorge and the three Dragon hunter pets.
Once you have killed all the ones outside, go into the Dragon Hunters' camp (Charles Quixote's fortress). Kill all the humans inside it, including the Mercenaries, even though they technically are not Dragon hunter types. When you believe you have killed them all, go on back out of the fortress. If they are all dead, you should get a message on the status line that says You have killed all the Dragon Hunters. If you don't get this message, you have missed some, either inside the fortress or outside. But sometimes Windows 7 will interfere with these messages (the quest can still be completed).
When you are sure they are all dead, return to Jerin Flame-Eye in the Dragon Cave for your reward.
Note: Since Charles Quixote does not have a sprite, he can't be killed and will still promote any Knight (MM8)s to Champion even if you've killed all his men.
