Kehl (also referred to as Khel) is a minor character mentioned in Might and Magic VIII: Day of the Destroyer. He was said to be "the greatest necromancer of the last age", but most of his knowledge was lost when his tower sank beneath the waves.
When volcanic eruptions hit the Dagger Wound Islands, Vetrinus Taleshire believed that the tower could be found. He asked the Hero of Jadame to enter the tower and bring back the Lost Book of Kehl, which contained most of the necromancer's secrets.
