Karigor is an island on Enroth that is mentioned in Might and Magic VI: The Mandate of Heaven and Might and Magic VII: For Blood and Honor. It is located southeast of New Sorpigal, and was the home of the Church of the Sun and Church of the Moon before they were dissolved.

Lore[]

The smiths of Karigor were renowned for forging great weapons, and many of the artifacts found all over the planet were made there. During the Second War of Enrothian Succession, Archibald ordered a large number of war axes to use in the war, but they were seized by Roland.

Karigor was known as "a snake's nest of politics and religion". The Church of the Sun and the Church of the Moon, both of which were founded on the island, fought the longest war in Enroth's history, until they both managed to destroy each other in 1083 AS.

The capital city of Karigor was Kalimar. According to rumor, the streets and buildings are made of fine jade. The library of the Church of the Moon was also made entirely of jade and marble.

Karigor was home to the mogred beast, a ferious race of animals whose skulls were used to make helmets. The creatures were approaching extinction, as they were over-hunted due to how valuable their horns were for enchanting.
