In Heroes of Might and Magic I, the Jousting Arena is a dwelling of the Farm town. It produces 3 Cavalry per week, but since the [Well]] has to be built beforehand (as a prerequisite of the Blacksmith), the Cavalry growth in a normal game will always be of 5 units per week.
The Jousting Arena costs 3.000 gold and 20 wood (it is one of the only two Farm buildings that have a high demand in a resource type - Wood, in this case ), and needs the Blacksmith and the Armory to be built. The Arena is not a prerequisite for any other building.
