Jim Journey was a member of Tawni Balfour's crew, and appears in the A Pirate's Daughter campaign in Heroes of Might and Magic IV. He was briefly Tawni's second mate.
Biography[]
When Oba Eight-Fingers was appointed as first mate, Jim was given the role of second mate. He was part of the group that accompanied Tawni when she hunted down Pete Girly.
They had to cross a swamp, so Tawni told her men to cut their way through the vines and bushes with sabers and axes. She put Jim in charge of it, and he decided to impress everyone with his wilderness skills by walking a few paces ahead, guiding them and testing the depth of the swamp. As he pushed aside some hanging vines, he broke a trap-trigger, and a four-foot spiked log crashed down on his chest, killing him. The log then swung back and forth with his body stuck to it.
The group left him there and moved on.
