Imani is a hero in Might & Magic: Heroes VII.
Biography[]
Like many Orcs, Imani is an orphan of war, her parents having been slain by the Wizards. She and her big brother Amari chose to stay with Jengo instead of sailing to the Pao Islands with the rest of their people. After losing an eye in a poorly-planned attack, Imani is slowly beginning to realize she made this choice for honour while Jengo is only driven by vengeance... whatever the cost.
Disobeying Jengo's orders, Imani went to recruit Beastmen slaves to grown the ranks of the Orcs' army. While her gambit was (mostly) succesful, the bloodthirsty Jengo abandoned his own plan and decided to attack the city of Al-Betyl ahead of schedule. Many Orcs died during the ill-fated battle, including Amari.
Having challenged Jengo for the title of warchief, Imani now bore this responsibility on her young shoulders. And it weighed heavily indeed, as the unforgiving sands of Sahaar were proving a deadly trap for the Orc tribes.
A dream quest initiated by the tribe's shaman, Kibwe, allowed Imani to find hope again. Sharing her burden with Kibwe and the Centaur Reem, Imani devises a cunning plan to deal with the Wizards' leader, Yasir of House Materia.
Having put vengeance aside for the sake of the tribe, Imani managed to strike a mutually beneficial deal with Yasir and secure peace between Desert Orcs and Wizards for many decades. She is known in Orc songs as "Mother Imani", one of their greatest heroes.OffBck
