Ichvan I was the first king of Mendossus, and is mentioned in Might and Magic IX. He founded the nation in the first century after the fall of the Ursanian Empire.
In 73 A.C., Ichvan tried to convince the dwarves of Minespring to forge weapons for his new army. After two years of negotiations, he grew tired of the refusals and razed the town to the ground.
One of his soldiers took the ring Sturkabygel from the wreckage, and went on to become one of Ichvan's most prominent generals. The ring was taken by Thjoradric raiders during a raid on Heronport.
Ichvan's descendants continued to rule Mendossus for at least 500 years.
