The Human is one of the five playable races in Might and Magic III: Isles of Terra, the other four being the gnome, dwarf, half-orc and elf. Humans start with the swimming skill, and a value of 7 in all resistances.
Humans can perform well as any class, but don't really excel in anything.
Sir Caneghem is the pre-made human character in the game.
