Hothfarr IX is a character in Might and Magic VII: For Blood and Honor. He is the King of the Dwarves on Antagarich.
Background[]
Hothfarr IX was the ruler of Stone City, home of the dwarves on Antagarich. When a group of adventurers became Lords of Harmondale, they went to the surrounding nations to have their claim recognized.
Some dwarf mines had been attacked by medusas, and the people were turned to stone. Hothfarr IX did not want to risk his own soldiers, so he asked the adventurers to enter the mine with an elixir that could restore the statues to life. When they accomplished the task, he acknowledged their ownership of Harmondale, and even sent a construction crew to help restore Castle Harmondale to its former glory.
Gameplay[]
Hothfarr IX can be found in Stone City in the Barrow Downs. He gives the party the Rescue the dwarves from the Red Dwarf Mines quest, which requires the party to enter the medusa-infested Red Dwarf Mines and rescue the dwarves that have been turned to stone.
