Hot Pursuit is a scenario Heroes of Might and Magic V.

Walkthrough[]

Dougal and his friend, Alaric, are going to the Archers' tournament in Halthilloth, after the fighting with the Demons. However, King Alexei has tasked them to first take care of rebels in Eastglade. Alaric is not happy about it, but Dougal says it is a task they need to finish. Eastglade is in the center of the map, and the fastest route is following the road north, then slightly east.

After capturing Eastglade, a Demon Lord named Grok stole the Unicorn Horn Bow - Alaric and Dougal are sligthly shocked by this event, so they need to confront him and get the bow back. After clashing with Grok, the Demon invasion is not over, as the nearby base of Ur-Jubaal still remains. Dougal needs to defeat the troops at the garrison and capture the city itself. Dougal should also lift the siege in Halthilloth, as the demons invaded the Elves.

After capturing Ur-Jubaal, Alaric wonders what does it say on the bow. Dougal reads "For services old and new." Yeah, it is definite that the Demons will not dare to attack... for a while, that is.

Strategy[]

Dougal will have to focus first on getting the troops to defeat Grok. After defeating him, it is pretty much simple, as having marksmen with the bow equipped makes a deadly combo.

Notes[]

After a week after Dougal defeats Grok, a note will appear where it states that the town of Nantur was captured - the town where the tournament was going to be held. However, the name of the town is Halthilloth.
