Horned Grunts inhabit the small islands found in the lava seas in hell. Not being overly fond of 'bathing', they make their way across the molten streams of lava with the help of their phenomenal leaping ability. There is not another creature able to jump as far as the Horned Grunt, and it is a skill that often proves extremely useful in battle.
- Demonic - This creature belongs to Inferno. The Chain shot (Succubus Mistress ability) does not affect it but it is vulnerable to Holy Word spell.
- Enraged - This creature's Attack increases during combat when any stack of friendly units dies (except resurrected creatures or creatures summoned on battlefield by magic). The increase is proportional to the killed stack relative power in the army.
- Leap - This creature can leap on any enemy target, at great distance, getting a 10% attack bonus for every tile it goes over. After the leap, the demon lands on the tile next to the target, and is exposed to double damage retaliation. The leap can't be longer than twice the Grunt's normal movement range, and it can't be shorter than two tiles (activated ability).
