"Our initial landing has captured a devastated outpost. Information is scarce and unreliable at best. Neighboring citizens have fled their villages. Remaining survivors tell conflicting stories. Evidence points to a Nighon invasion. Rally local militia and train them quickly. Destroy all hostile forces you encounter. Assume the worst. Assume we are at war."

Homecoming is the first scenario of the campaign Long Live the Queen.
Walkthrough[]
Queen Catherine has departed to elicit military support from King Gavin Magnus of Bracada. Other generals are fanning through the region. Establish a base of operations, rally local militia, determine the extent of the Nighon occupation, and find their invasion route.OffBck
The main hero of this scenario is Sir Christian. The objective of this mission is to seize the main town of the Nighon's Overlords invaders, delaying their invasion till the other Erathian troops will come to secure the main base of the invasion. The starting point is on the shore of a sea, at the town Caryatid. Close to Christian, some groups of archers and pikemen want to join the army, to help in the mission. The town of Caryatid is fortified, and has a garrison of 18 halberdiers, 14 marksmen and 6 swordsmen. As dwellings, you have the guardhouse, the archers' tower and the griffin tower. On the shore, close to Caryatid, are 4 ships landed.
Surface[]
The island is divided in 2 parts, that are separated by mountains, but they have 3 passes, each guarded well. The right side is yours. Grass lands, very rich in resources and in mines, with a lot artifacts and power-ups. In the north is the town Trailia, one of the cities that were conquered by the invaders. In the left side, are 2 conquered cities: Mirham and Plinth. The left side is covered by snow. On those snow lands, there is a prison, from where Orrin can be freed. Orrin is a level 1 Knight with 18 halberdiers, 14 marksmen, 12 griffins, 6 swordsmen, 5 zealots and 4 champions.
Underground[]
There are two routes to go in the underground: first of them is a Subterranean Gate, on the grass land, in the top left of the map; the second route is also a Subterranean Gate, but this time in the right side, on the snow land. In the underground, the Tan player owns the Dungeon city of Terraneus. Unlike the surface, the underground is poor in resources. The city of Terraneus is surrounded by cursed ground, so it's easy to recognize it.
Towns[]
Strategy[]
The enemy has quite many towns, but Christian has a lot of troops at the beginning to join him, giving a starting advantage. Once the local mines are seized and the artifacts beyond the eastern portal collected, it is only a matter of time to announce the attack and capture the cities back. The enemy may send a large force, so make sure to keep some troops if the enemy makes an ambush.
