Holman is a character in Heroes of Might and Magic IV. He appears in the Rainbow Crystal scenario of the Price of Peace campaign.

Background

Holman was the only surviving member of a group of adventurers who located the Rainbow Crystal. The rest of his party were hypnotized by the Crystal, and tried to fight the undead hordes of King Dreggar for it - Holman was the only one who managed to break free and escape.

He later agreed to show Solmyr where the Crystal was, in return for a sizeable amount of gold. He also gave Solmyr the diary of his old partner Bozilast, so that he could learn more about the Crystal. Holman left the party before Solmyr's fight against king Dreggar, but forgot his payment. Solmyr had his soldiers bury the gold beneath the snow and built a campfire next to it, telling them that if Holman hadn't claimed the gold before they acquired the crystal and reached the surface, it should be divided among the troops.

Solmyr describes him as "a skinny, jittery man".

"The stranger's clothing dangled from his body, too large for his wiry frame, but there was plenty of fabric to keep him warm."

"Upon closer inspection, the man's skin seemed leathery as if he had spent most of his life in the outdoors, but he did not appear strong enough to survive even a week in the wild."
