Heroes of Might and Magic: Quest for the Dragon Bone Staff is a 2001 video game released on the PlayStation 2. Though 3DO did not advertise it as such, the game is an enhanced remake of King's Bounty. It is primarily a graphics enhancement and it appears that little of the text has actually changed. Because of its dated gameplay, the game bears little relation to the rest of the Heroes of Might and Magic series other than borrowing several graphics and the art style of the late 90's/early 2000s Might and Magic series.
Summary[]
Darkness reigns. Sinister creatures stalk the innocent. King Argus III lies helpless and unconscious, dying from the assassination attempt that has left him poisoned and weak. Malazak, the revenge - driven son of the Wyrm - Father, awaits King Argus's death so he can divide the kingdom between himself, a demon, and a dark Minotaur. Only one Hero possesses the power to set things right. You must find the DragonBone Staff.

The valiant knight is the protector of the people. He fights for those who cannot fight for themselves and upholds the King's Law. Despite his magical limitations, the Knight's fighting prowess and resources make him the easiest Hero to play.
