Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era (also known as HoMMOE) is an upcoming turn-based strategy game developed by Cyprus-based studio Unfrozen and published by UbiSoft.[1] The release is planned for the second quarter of 2025.[1]

Story[]

The story of the game is set in the original universe. It will take place on the continent Jadame located on the planet Enroth.[1][2] It will be set before the events of Heroes of Might and Magic: A Strategic Quest.[2] Rival factions will have to forge fragile alliances to face the Hive — a swarm of insectoids corrupted by an Inferno demon lord hell bent on subjugating the world.[1]

Gameplay[]

The game will feature a non-linear story campaign, system of Faction Laws, multiplayer up to eight players, new arena multiplayer mode and random map generator.[2]

The player can choose from six factions to play:[1]

  • Temple (Classic Humans)
  • Necropolis (Undead)
  • Sylvan (Forces of Nature and Fey Folks)
  • Dungeon (Dark Elves and Underground Creatures)
  • Hive (Demonic Insectoids)
  • TBA
