Might and Magic Wiki

The flaming phoenix is an upgraded tier 7 creature of the Grove faction. It is recruited from the Pyre II. It is one of two upgrades for the phoenix, along with the energy phoenix.

Out of all elements, fire is the most demanding — it can bring hope as easily as it can reduce everything to ash. A blazing Phoenix signals a new chick in the nest, but it also makes them fiercely territorial.OffBck

Tactics[]

Flaming phoenixes have indisputably the highest Initiative in the game, making it almost guaranteed that the one leading them will get a spell off first. They can also revive if their stack is destroyed, but the enemy can prevent the revival by attacking the crystal three times. They also don't have the best durability due to below-average Defense for their tier.

Flaming phoenixes pair perfectly with an Armageddon strategy due to their immunity to fire spells.
