Final Peace is the fourth scenario of the Unholy Alliance campaign in Heroes of Might and Magic III: The Shadow of Death. It is available at the same time as Gathering the Legion, Search for a Killer, and Harvest. Gem discovers that Lord Fayette has been slain by the Necromancers and raised as a Death Knight, so she decides to free his soul by destroying his undead body.
"When I went to tell Lord Fayette about Sandro tricking me, I learned he left on a mission into Deyja while I was searching for the boots and had not yet returned. So I scryed for Lord Fayette and discovered his mission had gone horribly wrong. He had been killed by the Necromancers and... and... resurrected as a Death Knight! Curse all Necromancers! There is one last service I can do for my lord. I will grant his soul final peace by destroying the undead body chaining it to this world. I owe him that much."

Walkthrough[]
You must kill Lord Fayette to win the scenario. However, if Gem is defeated in combat, the scenario is lost. Gem is limited to level 30 but will carry her experience, skills and spells on to her next scenario.OffBck
Gem and Clancy start in the north with two Ramparts, with a neutral Rampart nearby. The enemy has two high-level random heroes to the south, with two Necropolises under their control and a neutral Necropolis nearby. Between the two areas is a red anti-magic garrison filled with undead creatures. In addition, Lord Fayette has a Necropolis underground, blocked by a light blue border guard.
The first priority should be to build up the towns and capture the neutral Rampart as quickly as possible. The subterranean gate to the northeast leads to a small cavern with a few heavily-guarded mines. Once the player has a large enough army, they can head south through the garrison and take out the three southern Necropolises. The two random heroes will be the toughest challenge.
Once Gem controls all six surface towns, she can visit the stat-improving buildings and fight creature stacks for experience. Leveling up Clancy is pointless, since he is not available in later scenarios. When Gem is prepared and the player has raised a large army, visit the light blue keymaster's tent in the southeastern corner, then go to the subterranean gate in the west to face Lord Fayette in combat. Once he is defeated, the scenario is over.
Towns[]
- Three Ramparts
- Four Necropolises
Bugs[]
- If the player hired Gem as a tavern hero in a previous scenario (like Search for a Killer), she will be replaced by a random hero in this scenario. To prevent this, the player should either not hire Gem, or dismiss her before finishing the other scenario.
Notes[]
Gem's experience is automatically set to 200,100 points at the beginning of this scenario. Also, Gem's primary and secondary skills and spells are not copied from Driving for the Boots.
