Deliver Fire Resistance Potions is a side quest in Might and Magic VIII: Day of the Destroyer. Many trolls died when the lake of fire appeared outside Rust, and Pole wants to make sure no one else is lost.
Walkthrough[]
Pole gives the party three potions, so they will need to buy, find, or make three more to complete the quest. If the party has Alchemy, brewing a potion is simple. They can buy potions at an alchemist shop, but they are expensive (3,000 gold, unless the party has the Merchant skill) and rare. The party may also randomly find the potions in chests in the area.
Once the party has all six potions, they must visit the homes of Mikel Smithson, Hobert, Gregory Mist, Medwari Elmsmire, Celia Stone, and Brother Hearthsworn and give each house a potion. Return to Pole to complete the quest.
The party gets 1,000 experience and 4 fame when delivering a potion, an extra 2,500 experience and 10 fame when delivering the last potion, and 1,500 gold when returning to Pole.
Bug[]
The quest tells the party to return to Hobert once they are done, but they actually receive the quest from Pole.
