The troll is a fifth tier unit in the Barbarian faction, recruited by building a bridge in Barbarian towns.
The troll is a fine ranged unit, possessing fairly high defense and good attack, which, when combined with the regeneration ability, gives them surprising longevity in combat. They may still be destroyed by a focused attack, though, so steps should be taken to ensure they are protected from harm.
It can be upgraded to the war troll.
