The Sorcerer is the basic magic class of the Asylum faction in Heroes of Might and Magic IV. It starts with Basic Chaos Magic and Basic Conjuration. Its might counterpart is the Thief.

Lore

Several Sorcerers are comprised from the ranks of the former Warlocks of Nighon (both Humans and Minotaurs), efreeti who fought alongside the Kreegans during the Restoration Wars, and orcs originally native to Krewlod.

Skills

The Sorcerer has the following priorities to learn secondary skills:

• 4: Chaos Magic, as well as all of its related skills, have a priority of 4.
• 2: Death Magic and Nature Magic, as well as all of their related skills, have a priority of 2.
• 1: Charm, Enchantment, Healing, Pathfinding, Resurrection, Scouting, Seamanship, Spirituality, Wizardry
  • Combat, Nobility and Tactics, as well as all of their related skills, have a priority of 1.
• 0: Life Magic, Order Magic, Stealth

Trivia

• The male sorcerer model is based on Scorage, while female one is Mayweda
