Walkthrough[]

Rumor has it thousands of years ago the last of the Behemoths went into the mountains to hide from hunters and trappers. Now the Behemoths have come for their revenge. The villages around the mountains need your help killing the ancient beasts.OffBck

The hero can play any faction, except the pink or teal color (on the central island). The player can choose to play as a single player or in a team. In the latter case, the teams are pairs of players:

  • red and blue
  • purple and teal
  • tan and green
  • teal and pink

For years, hunters have hunted ancient behemoths, to the point of extinction. However, it turned out that a group of them remained, and are destroying the local villages. The goal is to defeat the 300 ancient behemoths in the northern part of the central island. The hero has to defeat them until the sixth month, or lose the game.

The hero starts with a town on a respective territory. In order to defeat the ancient behemoths, the hero has to assemble a large army. Afterwards, the hero has to visit the keymaster's tents, since the ancient behemoths are guarded behind six border gates. The tents are scattered about all islands, except the sand one in the northwest and the two dirt ones in the south. To make matters more difficult, the tents are guarded by lots of neutral armies. Aside gold, the hero can also collect pieces of Titan's Thunder artifact. The tents are located on the:

The western dirt island has faerie, while the eastern dirt island has crystal and the northwestern sand island has azure dragons for sale. In addition to the four towns (two for each player and three neutral ones) on each island, there are additional towns on the western dirt island (a Castle), the northeastern sand island (a Necropolis) and the snowy island (a Tower). While the towns already have some structures built inside them, the latter two are guarded by garrisons, so they cannot be accessed early. Furthermore, going to the Necropolis forces the hero to battle 20 ghost dragons in an event, while going to the Tower they must face 1000 gremlins and 800 master gremlins.

In order to assist the hero, there are seer's huts:

  • in the southern part of the lava island offers a Helm of Heavenly Enlightenment artifact for 16 arch devils
  • on the northwestern part of the central island, offers 15 gold dragons for a 27th level hero
  • at the grass island (near the red player) gives 25000 experience points, but for a hefty price: 50 ore and wood, 20 of mercury, crystal and sulfur, 25 gems, as well as 5000 gold
  • on the southern part of the central island, offer 35000 experience points for 50 ore and wood, 20 of mercury, sulfur and gems, 35 crystals, as well as 15000 gold
  • on the southeastern part of the grass island (near the blue player), gives 50000 gold to a level 18 hero
  • a hero with 10 spell power and 15 knowledge can gain 5 chaos hydras, on the northern part of the swamp island

With a strong enough army, the hero can visit the northern part of the rough island to defeat the ancient behemoths. The terrain is cursed ground, so magic cannot be cast against them. As a final bonus, however, the hero's starting faction can obtain 20 upgraded tier 7 units through an event. Approaching the ancient behemoths, the hero can hear "thunder", which is a loud roar of the hundreds of ancient behemoths that the hero has to defeat.

Towns[]

Strategy[]

The first bit is to accumulate resources to speed up the construction of the town. With a few weeks passed, the hero should take the forces and conquer the rest of the island, leaving the neighboring enemy on the island with little time to prepare themselves, bearing in mind that there are two garrisons with small amount of armies blocking the path. Once done, the main hero should let another hero defend the island, while the main one goes around the rest of the islands, to visit the keymaster's tents.

The hero can attempt to first defeat all enemies on the islands, which takes time and effort. The enemy will likely have their forces scattered around the map (particularly the central island), which makes it slightly easier to assemble an army and take each town, one by one, to cripple the enemy's resources intake and creature generators. Additional heroes can be bought to take over mines, so the hero can pay more units from their towns. It will take some months to complete this goal, however. Any enemy forces the strongest hero can encounter should be dealt with before they grow to a threat, so the hero doesn't spend time chasing them around the map.

With enough experience, it is only a matter of time to visit the keymaster's tents, and defeating the garrison foces. The remaining forces need to be used to defeat the ancient behemoths.
