The faun is the tier 1 creature of the Grove faction. It is recruited from the Faun Huts. The faun can be upgraded into the faun archer or faun warrior.

Fauns are the strongest tier-1 creature on a per-unit basis, but are also the most expensive and have the lowest population. Attacking them in melee is riskier than with other creatures thanks to their Parry ability, letting them strike first before the enemy lands a blow (though they will still have a melee penalty).
