"Traveling from Erathia to my homeland of Tatalia, I have passed through several towns. I have yet to encounter a living soul. There is only the lingering stench of the undead. I fear a necromancer in the area is raising an army. 'Who...' is unknown. 'Why...' is unknown."
—Adrienne

A fire witch named Adrienne returns from her expedition from Erathia, towards Tatalia. However, she encounters undead and, by a farmer's story, she confirms someone is slaying the peasants to raise an undead army. To start out, she needs a town, and there is a close Castle named Brastleton near her, occupied by the undead. Adrienne knows well should Tatalia fail, they need to ask Erathia for support to cleanse the lands. She sends a letter to Erathia to ask for reinforcements against the undead. Her assistant, Baltron, wonders why she is sending the message, doubting Erathia would help them after the recent war. Adrienne reminds him they have to try, at least.
As Adrienne continues north, a reply from Erathia reads that they cannot help her nor spare any of their troops, for they are fighting off some demonic forces. Despite the outrage, Erathia recommends Adrienne to seek out a knight in the north, who is captured by the NightStalkers. This knight is being captured by a bunch of vampires, located in north-east. Despite the undead threat, Adrienne's forces do not trust fire magic, but realize it is the best way to utilize it to cleanse the land from this blight. However, Erathians and Tatalians do not trust each other and fights break, so Adrienne shouts and uses fire magic to gain their attention, scolding each troop for these fights. At least she is pleased to see the children unaffected by the horrors of the war.
As Adrienne moves to capture the rest of Castle towns, she receives a report a man on a black horse has moved deeper into Tatalia, likely the undead leader. Adrienne, however, faces even more problems: while Tatalia does not want to help her, Erathia takes -50 wood and ore, -25 of all rare resources and -10 000 gold, else she would've been branded as a criminal for capturing Erathian towns. She also learns the word of the enemy: Lord Haart, a death knight who was once affiliated with Erathian army.

Strategy[]
Adrienne will have to capture the towns first. With a lot of undead in the way, she will have to recruit some heroes to aid her. Once having a powerful army, Adrienne should head north to capture the last town, then head west to defeat Haart's forces or defeat the rest of the undead. Heroes are limited to level 12 and Adrienne, as well as her three heroes, will advance to next scenario.
