Small, frail, and armed only with their natural scratching claws, imps and familiars are among the weakest units in the game. They are, however, produced in great numbers. When familiars are on the battlefield, they channel 20% of spell points spent by enemy spellcasters directly into their hero’s spell point pool.
The familiar is not much stronger than the imp, but it has Magic channel, a useful ability that ensures that the friendly hero will get 20% of the mana used by the enemy hero. This makes the unit useful, even late in the game.
- Ignatius is a specialist in familiars , and gives them +1 to Attack and Defense per hero level after first level.
