Estates is a secondary skill in Heroes of Might and Magic IV. It grants the kingdom an additional surplus of gold per day. The hero must be outside towns for the effect to be applied.

Estates is related to secondary skill nobility. By default, lords start with this skill.

Basic estates gives the hero the ability to produce an extra 100 gold per day for their kingdom, plus 10% per level of the hero. It requires the hero to learn basic nobility.

Advanced estates gives the hero the ability to produce an extra 200 gold per day for their kingdom, plus 10% per level of the hero. It requires the hero to learn basic nobility and basic estates.

This skill allows the hero to learn:

Expert[]

Expert estates gives the hero the ability to produce an extra 300 gold per day for their kingdom, plus 10% per level of the hero. It requires the hero to learn advanced nobility and advanced estates.

This skill allows the hero to learn:

Master[]

Master estates gives the hero the ability to produce an extra 400 gold per day for their kingdom, plus 10% per level of the hero. It requires the hero to learn advanced nobility and expert estates.

Grandmaster[]

Grandmaster estates gives the hero the ability to produce an extra 500 gold per day for their kingdom, plus 10% per level of the hero. It requires the hero to learn expert nobility and master estates.

This is the final level of estates skill, and does not unlock any additional skills. The hero can instead develop the nobility skill, if needed.
