"Finally, Tarnum had the power to take the offensive, but as he tried to take back the land AvLee lost he met the massive Azure Dragons. Even the good Dragons feared these ancient creatures."
Dragons of Deepest Blue is the seventh scenario in Clash of the Dragons, the fourth part of Heroes Chronicles.
Tarnum strikes back at Mutare's forces to take back lost AvLee land. He must defeat all towns without dying. All Heroes will be limited to level 34, but Tarnum and his two best Captains will transfer to the next scenario.OffBck
With the faerie dragons at his side, Tarnum decides to attack Mutare's forces and drive them out of AvLee. Unfortunately, his enemy now controls azure dragons, the mightiest creatures that walk the land.
Aspen dies from his injuries, but not before telling Tarnum that he's a good man. Kurbon has fled into Mutare's lands before Tarnum's men could catch him, and no one dares to follow him into the dark tunnels of Nighon.
Valita expresses her love for Tarnum, but Tarnum knows that the Ancestors can call him away at any time, and that he's not free to plan his own future. As he doesn't want to explain his situation, he stays silent while Valita drifts away. The azure dragons start attacking AvLee vilages, and Valita and some other elves leave camp to hunt them.
With the aid of his faerie dragon allies, Tarnum pushes Mutare's forces back to Nighon.
Walkthrough[]
Tarnum and his two strongest heroes from the previous scenario start out with one Rampart and one Castle. The opponent has four Dungeons and three heroes: Gunnar, Lorelei, and Jeddite. Two neutral garrisons filled with rust dragons block Tarnum's lands from the enemy forces.
Within Tarnum's area, there are two Magic Forests that will allow him to train faerie dragons, but the path to them is blocked by a stack of azure dragons. The opponents have a Sulfurous Lair, a Crystal Cavern, and Frozen Cliffs, allowing them to train crystal, rust, and azure dragons. The Frozen Cliffs can be found in the northwestern corner, and the only path to them is a two-way monolith that only the opponent can use.
In the northeastern corner, Tarnum can find one of the enemy Dungeons, and southwest of it, a light blue keymaster's tent. In the southwestern corner, there's another Dungeon, and north of it, a red tent. And in the center of the map is the third Dungeon, south of which is the green tent.
Having visited all three tents, Tarnum can open the border guards and visit the purple keymaster's tent north of the central Dungeon, and go through the purple border gate near it. He'll then find the last enemy Dungeon to the north.
Towns[]
Strategy[]
There are three seer's huts on the map. The first is far to the east, and will give a hero the Hellstorm Helmet for the Shield of the Damned. The second is southeast of the southwestern Dungeon, and will give a Breastplate of Brimstone for the Sword of Hellfire. The last is located east of the last Dungeon, and will give 3 faerie dragons if Tarnum has defeated the azure dragons blocking the path to his Magic Forests.
