"Oof. Sometimes I wish I had been born to do something simple - breed lizards, pick mushrooms.
Fortunately for Ashan, that is not the case.

Raelag and Isabel

Dragons is the fourth scenario in Ylaya's Quest campaign in the Hammers of Fate expansion.

Walkthrough[]

Thralsai's forces are arriving, so Isabel and Raelag will try to stop the cultists, while Ylaya goes to convince the black dragons to fight against Thralsai. The journey is a long one, though Ylaya can get the creatures from the dwellings on her side and so should Isabel and Raelag. Ylaya has 2 months before Thralsai comes, so Ylaya has to stay focused.

Isabel and Raelag will have to fight the cultists. Though the cultists don't seem to have much troops, each time they appear they are more powerful and can be a serious threat. Isabel and Raelag must visit the dwellings once in a while. When Ylaya comes to get the dragons, the dragons will recognize that she is not a demon and will join her.

The only thing remaining is Thralsai. The heroes need to recruit the forces and attack him. After the battle, Raelag tells Isabel he needs to go after Isabel's child. Isabel is terrified by the event, but lets him go. Raelag wants to be a simpler Dark Elf, but Isabel tells him Ashan is lucky to have a hero like he.

Towns[]

Events[]

  • It is revealed Isabel gave birth to her child, who escaped.
  • Raelag leaves Ygg-Chall.
  • Thralsai is killed.
  • Isabel and Ylaya go to the Holy Griffin Empire.

Strategy[]

The town of Harlis should build every day. Meanwhile, Ylaya needs to go get the dragons (and should get powerful artefacts from her journey) while Raelag and Isabel attack the enemy. In the battles, speed should prevail than brute force. When Thralsai comes, Ylaya has to have the dragons (there are about 180 of them), as they will ensure an easier victory.

Bugs[]

There is a possibility that if one enemy hero is left, he/she will get all of Thralsai's troops, making him an easier target.
