The dragon fly is the upgrade of the serpent fly, the third-level creature of the Fortress faction in Heroes of Might and Magic III. It can be recruited from the upgraded serpent fly hive.

These giant, flying insects attack by striking with their tail stingers. Their attacks dispel any beneficial spells affecting their target. In addition, the Dragon Flies have the ability to cast Weakness on their opponent every time they attack.^OffBck

With a higher speed, and a higher attack and defense, the dragon fly is even better at targetting weak creatures than the serpent fly. Not only it dispels beneficial spells from enemy targets, it also weakens enemies with the weakness spell cast on them.

Notes

• Korbac is a specialist in dragon flies, and gives them +1 to Attack and Defense per hero level after third level. These creatures also get +1 to Speed.
