Dragon Master is the seventh scenario of Archibald's campaign in Heroes of Might and Magic II: The Succession Wars. It's optional, but will provide the player with a dragon alliance, which makes all neutral green, red, and black dragon stacks join them.

There are two enemies allied against you in this mission. Both are well armed and seek to evict you from their island. Avoid them and capture Dragon City to win.OffBck

Realizing that the service of the dragons would be a great aid in his war against Roland, Archibald sent his commander to capture the Dragon City and force the king of the dragons to bow before him. Battling his way through the local warlocks, the commander accomplished his mission.

Walkthrough[]

The commander controls a red castle and hero on the eastern part of the island, the faction depending on the player's choice. The yellow and orange players have one warlock castle and hero each.

Both of them start off with larger forces than the commander, but a quick buildup could even this out. In addition, there are many ogre stacks that can provide the player with troops, provided they have the ogre alliance from Slay the Dwarves. With a large force, the warlocks can be taken out of play.

The real challenge on the map is taking the dragon city in the northwest corner, but once the warlocks have been dealt with, there's no pressure, and the heroes can build up as large an army as they want before attacking.
