"Mutare was human once, but her thirst for power drove her to drink a potion that turned her into a Dragon. Soon, she became the Dragon Queen of Nighon where her reputation for cruelty became as well known as her desire to rule the world."
Dragon's Blood is the second scenario in Clash of the Dragons, the fourth part of Heroes Chronicles.
Tarnum must acquire the Vial of Dragon's Blood so he can take the Gold and Green Dragons out from Mutare's control. Be careful not to lose Tarnum. All Heroes will be limited to level 12 and Tarnum and two of his best Captains will transfer to the next scenario.OffBck
Tarnum learns that the dragons are being controlled by Mutare, the Dragon Queen of Nighon. During a game of chess against his advisor Aspen, he learns that the Elf King sent Valita, one of his captains, to find the Vial of Dragon's Blood, an artifact that may help free the dragons. Unfortunately, Valita and her soldiers have disappeared without a trace.
One of the Elf King's spies learns that Nighon is gathering their armies, preparing an invasion. Aspen goes to save another spy who has some valuable information, but is trapped behind enemy lines. But Aspen arrives too late, and the man is dead.
Eventually, Tarnum finds Valita in a pit fiend's prison, and he frees her. With her help, he locates the Vial.
Walkthrough[]
Tarnum starts with a Rampart, while the enemy hero Calid has a red Inferno to the east. Between them is a heavily defended red garrison.
There's a shipyard south of the Rampart that will allow Tarnum to attack the Inferno from the south, taking out his foes. On the island to the far south, he can find Valita in a prison. She can open the quest guard to the north of the Inferno. When the arch devils behind it have been defeated, Tarnum can pick up the Vial of Dragon's Blood.

Strategy[]
The Inferno starts out with few forces, and should be dealt with early.
Defeating the garrison will take many weeks of creature growth, so travelling by boat is the better option.
