Dikken is a character that is mentioned in the official strategy guide to Crusaders of Might and Magic. He was a human child who was raised by the dasher Tamris, and later became a Crusader Knight.
Biography[]
When Dikken was an infant, his parents were slain by the Legion of the Fallen. Left alone in Duskwood, he was adopted by the dashers, and raised by the war-leader Tamris.
Tamris was fond of humans, and was thrilled to have a human child in his house. Dikken described his foster father as "most kind and attentive to my needs". The dashers viewed humans as "complicated" and "disorganized", which were huge insults in a race that valued simplicity, efficiency and purity, but Tamris believed that the dashers could learn something from the humans.
Dikken later returned to human civilization, where he eventually joined the Crusaders and became a scout. Celestia asked him to give her a report on Tamris and the dashers, and to include his opinions of the race. He told her that the dashers could be valuable allies against the Legion, since they hated the undead and would welcome a chance to mobilize against Necros. He also stressed that they should be treated like equals, and that if the Crusaders tried to approach them as if they were lesser beings, the dashers would refuse to even talk to them.
