  • At Novice level, Defense grants the hero the following effect:
    • Increases hero's Defence by 2.OffBck
  • At Expert level, Defense grants the hero the following effect:
    • Increases hero's Defence by additional 2.OffBck
  • At Master level, Defense grants the hero the following effect:
    • Increases hero's Defence by additional 2.OffBck

Vitality Novice +3 Health for friendly creatures during combat.OffBck
Town protector Novice Governor: The local guard's core creature capacities in this town are increased by +60 and for elite creatures by +20.OffBck
Defensive stance Novice If a friendly creature did not attack or use an active ability during its normal turn or Morale turn it gets +6 Defense until the start of its next turn.OffBck
Evasion Expert Friendly creatures get +6 Defense against ranged attacks.OffBck
Preemptive strike Expert A friendly creature that used the defend action will retaliate preemptively until the start of its next turn.OffBck
Alertness Master Enemy creatures' flanking and full flanking damage bonuses are decreased by 25% percentage points.OffBck
Perfect defence Grandmaster Whenever a friendly creature is attacked its Defense is raised to match the attackers Attack.OffBck
