Death Magic is a secondary skill in Heroes of Might and Magic IV. It is used to cast Death Magic spells.

Death Magic is related to secondary skills Occultism, Demonology and Necromancy. By default, necromancers start with this skill.

Death Magic can be combined with other secondary skills, which grants hero an Advanced class:

Basic Death Magic allows the hero to cast level 1 Death Magic spells. It has no prerequesits.

Advanced Death Magic allows the hero to cast level 2 and lower Death Magic spells. It requires the hero to learn Basic Death Magic and Basic Occultism.

Expert Death Magic allows the hero to cast level 3 and lower Death Magic spells. It requires the hero to learn Advanced Death Magic, Advanced Occultism and Basic Demonology.

Master Death Magic allows the hero to cast level 4 and lower Death Magic spells. It requires the hero to learn Expert Death Magic, Expert Occultism and Expert Demonology.

Grandmaster[]

SkillGrandmasterDeathMagicIV

Grandmaster Death Magic allows the hero to cast level 5 and lower Death Magic spells. It requires the hero to learn Master Death Magic, Grandmaster Occultism and Grandmaster Demonology.

This is the final level of Death Magic skill, and does not unlock any additional skills. The hero can instead develop the Necromancy skill, if needed.
