Daglathor is the final enemy in Warriors of Might and Magic. He is an indestructible kreegan imprisoned in a volcano.
Daglathor is actually a Kreegan, an ancient and vile spacefaring race. He was banished from the heavens for his crimes of depravity and imprisoned under a volcano, the only way to contain something so large and evil. Horrible starvation has wracked him for eons, and when released, he is completely focused on consuming every being in Ardon.OffBck[1]
Biography[]
Daglathor was an indestructable kreegan that arrived at Ardon, causing devastation wherever he went. Einar led the Ancients against him, but to Einar's surprise, Daglathor withstood his attacks, and the Ancient realized that he was incapable of slaying the kreegan. Einar discovered that Daglathor was using the ethereal power of his victims' souls to defend himself. Since the Ancients were unable to slay him, Einar imprisoned Daglathor inside a volcano. With the mass of the mountain weighing him down, the kreegan was to weak to escape, and Einar declared victory.
Years later, Daria, one of Einar's children, wanted to free Daglathor to ravage Ardon once again, so that his victims would give her the energy she needed to awaken her ancestral powers. She aided Daglathor's cultists in the temple near his prison, but the cult betrayed her and intented to sacrifice her to him. Daglathor was freed, but he was weak from centuries of starvation, so Alleron was able to defeat him, imprisoning him once again. The temple collapsed, but both Alleron and Daria managed to escape.
