"A Death Knight named Mot, refuses to obey King Gryphonheart’s orders. An example must be made so others will not contemplate such traitorous action. Mot has insulated himself with his armies. Infiltrate his troops, kill him, and take his command. When he is dead, resurrect his corpse and employ him in your ranks."
Corporeal Punishment is a scenario of the Long Live the King campaign in Heroes of Might and Magic III: The Restoration of Erathia.
Walkthrough[]
To win, you must defeat the Death Knight, Mot. Some Border Guards can only be passed if a Hero carries a Quest Artifact from a previous scenario, but the artifact beyond the Border Guard will travel with you to the next scenario.OffBck
Mot, a death knight, does not approve of the necromancers' plan to conquer Erathia, for his lands are closest to the region. The necromancers decided to prove him wrong, as he needs to be killed and revived. He lies in the south-eastern region in a Necropolis.
If you are coming directly from A Gryphon's Heart, you can use the Spirit of Oppression to open a quest guard located just to the north of Mot's castle in the eastern part of the map, which leads to some treasure and the Pendant of Death that can be carried over to Season of Harvest.
If you are coming from Season of Harvest and have the Collar of Conjuring as a reward for freeing Sandro, you can open a quest guard in the underground portion of the map, which can only be accessed through a whirlpool in the northeastern part of the map. There are several Necropolis dwellings located there, as well as the Speculum that can be transferred to From Day to Night. Further in the underground, a seer would request a Badge of Courage. In return, the hero receives +2 spell power.
The heroes will have to defeat the enemies' garrisons and enter the region, though there are two more Necropolises in south-west and north-east. Once Mot has been slain, Deyja makes final preparations to mount an attack on Erathia.

Strategy[]
Even if the enemy's forces are weak at the beginning, they will start harassing you with their heroes from all sides almost immediately, so capturing enemy castles as soon as possible is important. Since you don't have much gold at the beginning, you should focus on building City Halls in your towns first, and probably capturing some gold mines. The enemy garrisons are fairly weak, so you should be able to capture them in just a couple of weeks. Mot's castle is located in the southeast, so if you need time to get your quest guard reward, leave it under enemy control before you get it, and then gather an army from all of your castles to defeat Mot.
