Core units are the lowest level of creatures in Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes, below elite units and champion units.

Three core units of the same color placed in a vertical line will form an attack, but three or more units aligned horizontally will form a defensive wall. In the story mode, core units don't need to be replenished when they die, unlike elite and champion units.

All factions have access to three core units.
