The Contested Lands, sometimes called Harmondale, was a region and independent nation on the continent of Antagarich, on the planet Enroth.
In 1151, a group of citizens in the Contested Lands claimed to be descendants of the Phynaxian Empire, and demanded their independence, by force if necessary. Catherine Gryphonheart, who at the time was serving in Erathia's army, was forced to take her troops and put down the rebellion.
History[]
During the Timber Wars, the region which Erathia and AvLee fought over would eventually become a desolate wasteland, and when peace came, the area became known as the Contested Lands.
The towns of Welnin and Harmondale are located within the Contested Lands.
After the Restoration Wars, fearing that Erathia and AvLee would resume hostilities with each other and that they would be caught in the crossfire between Erathia and AvLee, the inhabitants of the Contested Lands wage a war of their own for independence and ultimately were victorious. Unbeknownst to them, however, their war was secretly orchestrated by Archibald Ironfist.
