Chaos hydra's icon

The chaos hydra is the upgrade of the hydra, the seventh-level creature of the Fortress faction in Heroes of Might and Magic III. It can be recruited at the upgraded hydra pond.

Hydras and chaos hydras are multiheaded serpents attacking with vicious bites. When they attack, they attack all adjacent enemy troops. This attack is so overwhelming no counterstrike is possible.^OffBck

The chaos hydra has slightly higher attack, defense, and speed, and a lot more hit points. The increased vitality will let it remain in combat longer, allowing it to do a lot more damage. Much like the hydra, chaos hydra attacks all adjacent enemies with no retaliation from any of them.
