Channon is the kingdom of Life in the Heroes of Might and Magic IV expansion Winds of War. It is ruled by Knights and Priests.
The exact date of its formation is unknown. Baron Von Tarkin, undead ruler of the nearby nation of Korresan, claims that Channon is a a land "where the Priests of Life have lived free for as long as history can record."[1]The nation has lived in peace with its closest neighbors, the desert kingdom of Qassar, the wastelands of Korresan, and the Elven nation of Arbor'al.
Final Conflict[]
Channon came under fire from five invading conquerors. Spazz Maticus of Orilios captured the Frostrift River Outpost, and the Knight Luther D'Walt was taken prisoner or killed[2]. The Barbarian Mongo conquered the north, destroying their wall [3] and slaying many of their greatest heroes [4]. Mysterio the Magnificent invaded their border towns[5] and took control of the resource-rich lands around Mt. Nokili.[6]
The Elven Warden Erutan Revol destroyed their lumber operations, and the trade center of Ginvil[7], while Baron Von Tarkin laid waste to the countryside[8] and took control of the stronghold of Angelmist Castle[9].
The nation was dissolved when one of the conquerors sieged the capital city of Rylos, defeating their defenders and taking the land.[10]
