The Nomad Centaurs are the most experienced archers among the centaurs. Their bows are much more powerful and have a longer range than those of ordinary centaurs, and their aggressive presence strengthens the force of an attack.OffBck

The centaur nomad is the second-level creature of the Stronghold town in Heroes of Might and Magic V: Tribes of the East. It's upgraded version of centaur.

Centaur nomads are a significant step up from regular centaurs, having higher attack, defense, health, and (most importantly) damage, but slightly less initiative. They are still fragile, however, so they need to avoid taking damage, even if they have Blood Rage built up.

Abilities[]

  • Large Creature - This creature is bigger than others and occupies four squares on the field. This creature takes 2x2 squares on the battlefield.
  • Shooter - This creature can inflict damage remotely. When distance to target is longer than half the arena, the target suffers only half the normal damage. Shooter cannot use ranged attack when blocked by enemy creature. If there's no Ammo Cart in the army, the number of shots is limited by available ammo.
  • Raging Blood - This creature has a mix of demon and human blood that makes it subject to "Blood Rage" temporarily improving it's battle characteristics for aggressive behavior in combat.
  • Maneuver - Suffering melee damage, this creature tries to run off from the attacker to the nearest unblocked location within its movement range, shooting and dealing half its normal damage from there.
