Brookside is a town in Great Arcan, making its only appearance in the Slave to Fear scenario of The Price of Peace campaign in Heroes of Might and Magic IV.
When Solmyr leaves the service of king Gavin Magnus, unable to deal with the way the Rainbow Crystal robs people of their free will, he tries to locate general Tharj Orcsplitter. He hopes the dwarf can help him find queen Emilia Nighthaven, so Solmyr can join her forces. The guards who protect general Tharj are unwilling to let him pass until he defeats the crystal-hypnotized town of Brookside, who have caused a lot of trouble for Emilia's troops.
Solmyr captures the town, proving to Tharj's men that he means what he says.
