Bluebeak, formerly known as the djinn Khalida, is a character featured in Might & Magic: Heroes VI and in Might & Magic: Heroes VII.

Biography[]

Heroes VI[]

Bluebeak, Sveltana's familiar, is one clever raven, although unless you're a member of House Griffin you'll be hard pressed to understand her screeches.
Maybe that's no bad thing given the no-nonsense attitude this bird possesses. Lords or peasants alike, Bluebeak won't hesitate to mock or scold if she hears foolish words.
Bluebeak's true nature and origins remain shrouded in mystery. For simplicity's sake, most consider her as an extension of Sveltana's personality (though Bluebeak will tell you that it's the other way round).
Like her mistress she has a soft spot for the Griffin family, and when not carrying messages or pecking worms, can often be found keeping an eye on Slava and his children.
OffBck

Bluebeak is a bird who acts as an informant for her mistress, Sveltana. Although Bluebeak can't practically speak, the Griffin family members still understand what she says.

Heroes VII[]

Summoned from the depths of the Plane of Magic, Khalida is a beautiful Djinn whose pairing with Fahada has led them both to power and fame. Their relationship developed from comrades, to friends, to lovers. This unusual romance was tolerated by the other Wizards until the Orc Rebellion, when the Circle of Nine became suspicious of any 'mixed' relationship.
To empower Fahada, Khalida willingly accepted to be bound to a gem known as the Flower of Dolor, fully knowing she would never be able to manifest on the physical plane ever again. Snatched by a dying Malathua, the gem disappeared into the raging river near Shahibdiya and into the mist of legend.
After passing from hand to hand, the Flower of Dolor eventually found itself back in the possession of Fahada herself. Mortally wounded in battle, Fahada freed Khalida from the gem before dying. Khalida's essence, rather than returning to the Plane of Magic, went on to possess the body of a nearby raven. From then on, she became known as Bluebeak.
