The Bloodeyed Cyclops has no need of a club. Its weapon is the bloody eye with which it strikes down any poor soul unlucky enough to meet its accursed gaze.OffBck

The bloodeyed cyclops is an upgrade of the cyclops, the seventh-level creature of the Stronghold town in Heroes of Might and Magic V: Tribes of the East. The other upgrade is the untamed cyclops.

The bloodeyed cyclops has a lower attack and damage than the untamed cyclops, but higher defense, initiative, speed, and hit points. The Evil-eye ability lowers an enemy's luck, which is useful, but it lacks the untamed cyclops' Crushing Blow — which means it damages fewer units, but there is less risk of unintended friendly fire. The untamed cyclops is better against large armies and in sieges, but the bloodeyed cyclops is better against single, powerful enemy stacks.

Abilities[]

  • Large Creature — This creature is bigger than others and occupies four squares on the field.
  • Raging Blood — This creature has a mix of demon and human blood that makes it subject to "Blood Rage" temporarily improving its battle characteristics for aggressive behavior in combat.

  • Range Penalty — Shooter always inflicts only half the normal damage to the target but doesn't incur any penalty on melee attack.
  • Goblin Thrower — This creature can use friendly Goblins from the neighboring stacks as missiles to throw them at the enemy (activated ability).
