Beatrice Gryphonheart was the youngest daughter of Nicolas and Gwenllian Gryphonheart, king and queen of Erathia.

Biography

She was born in 1141, on her sister Catherine's seventh birthday. This was heralded as a good omen across the land, and caused a nationwide celebration for seven days, one day for each year that separated the sisters.

In 1153, Beatrice and Gwenllian were killed by mauraders while visiting the northern coast. It was rumored that when they received the news, the King almost destroyed the palace, and Catherine almost destroyed the barracks she dwelled in. The mauraders were switly dealt with, but Catherine blamed herself for not being there to protect them, and decided to become her father's personal guard to make sure something similar didn't happen to him.

Fearing for her well-being, the king arranged for her to marry Roland Ironfist, who had recently defeated his brother Archibald to secure his hold on the throne of the Kingdom of Enroth.
