The ballista is a war machine in Heroes of Might and Magic V.

The ballista is a war machine that will attack the hero's enemies once per round in combat.

Notes

• The skill War Machines increases the attack, defense, and damage of the ballista.
  • The subskill Ballista gives the hero manual control of the ballista, it gains one extra shot, and it is restored after the battle if it was destroyed.
  • Triple ballista gives the ballista another extra shot, up to three consecutive shots total if hero is proficient with ballistas.
  • Imbue ballista lets Ranger's Imbue Arrow ability affect ballista as well. All ballista shots will carry the ranger's enchantments and therefore drain the Ranger's mana.
