Attacks in Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes are performed by forming battle formations, which are created by placing units in vertical lines to charge them up. Core and elite units are charged when two core units of the same color are placed behind them. To charge a champion unit, the player must place four core units of the same color behind them.
When the units have been placed into an attack formation, the unit's power will start rising. When the charge time is up, the unit will attack the enemy.
If three or more core units are placed in a horizontal line instead of a vertical one, they will form a wall.
