Arniel (meaning Fiery Light in Elvish) is a character in Tribes of the East.

Biography

The elves of Irollan elected their high kings. When Arniel was elected to be the high king he made a decree that his blood line will be the monarchy from now. In 528 YSD he also curbed the power of the local Elvish kings. Many Elves rebeled against him, most notably Queen Tuidhana. During his rulership, many things happened; Queen Tuidhana went underground and formed the nation of dark elves, Brythigga was burned, the mother tree of the elves. The Holy Falcon Empire attacked Irollan over land disputes, causing the rise of the dark elves. He was murdered as well and the elves turned on their cousins, the dark elves, while there was someone else who had his fingers in the plot.
