Arcania

King Gavin Magnus outside Arcania

Arcania was the capital of Great Arcan, appearing in the Price of Peace scenario of the Price of Peace campaign in Heroes of Might and Magic IV.

Arcania was the capital of Great Arcan and the seat of Queen Emilia Nighthaven's powers until her foe, King Gavin Magnus of Bracada, constructed the Crystal Pendulum, which allowed him to hypnotize his enemies. The citizens of Arcania were ready to defend themselves against his forces, but the Pendulum robbed them of their will, and they became his slaves.

It is likely that King Magnus dwelt in Arcania while in Great Arcan, as he can be found close to the town in the Price of Peace scenario. After his defeat, Arcania - as well as the rest of Great Arcan - enthusiastically welcomed queen Emilia back to the throne.
